Tuesday Evening Manuscript Class 2025
This monthly (10 sessions) workshop-based programme provides participants with ongoing support while they work on a major writing project (any genre) (i.e. a novel, collection of short stories, poems, or a memoir) and focuses on developing critiquing skills. Every month students will critique or receive feedback at some depth, from the class and the tutor on student manuscript extracts. Tutor and peer feedback enables students to evaluate their own writing while peer support encourages completion of the work. Acceptance into this course is based on having completed a previous course in Creative Writing, or relevant educational achievement such as a degree in English or having a publication record. Sessions are monthly to allow students time to present work and to prepare peer critiques. Minimum of 4 students to start the class and a maximum of 6.
Starts Tuesday 7 pm-9.00 pm February 25, 45 Sutherland St, Dunedin.
Class dates: February 25, April 1 & 29, May 27, June 24, July 22, August 19, September 16, October 14, November 11.
