Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Any student who withdraws from the course, and notifies Creative Writing Dunedin in writing three working days or more prior to the course commencing, will be eligible for a total refund of any fees paid less an administration charge of $50.

Any student who withdraws from the course, within 10 working days of it commencing, will be eligible for a refund of any fees paid less an administration charge of $150.

Deferral of Course

If after 14 working days of commencing a course, a student finds themselves unable to complete the course for family, illness or business reasons they may apply to defer the course to the next calendar year on payment of an administration charge of $100. If the course cannot be completed within six months of commencement, it may be possible to extend the course by agreement.

Payment of Accounts

Accounts for fees and expenses owing to Creative Writing Dunedin are required to be paid by the due date.

Replacement of Tutors

Creative Writing Dunedin reserves the right to replace an advertised tutor with another of equivalent expertise in the event of illness or unavailability. In the event of a cancelled class due to tutor illness or unavailability, an alternative class date will be set, or a refund given.
